Yoga is an exercise for the body, the mind, and the breath. Yoga classes designed for children provide a number of benefits. Physically, a child’s flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination develop through yoga poses, traditionally called asanas. Through yogic breathing exercises known as pranayama, children learn mental focus, concentration, and are able to relax more easily. Partner poses encourage teamwork, and yoga games stimulate the imagination and senses. Perhaps most importantly of all, yoga can help your child build confidence, as well as a love for the self and for others.

All of our yoga classes will be led by Maggie Stapleton, a 200-hour registered yoga instructor (RYT) and a certified children’s yoga teacher. No previous experience is needed to participate! In this class, your active, growing child is given an opportunity to explore all that (s)he is capable of!
The yogic principles of asana and breath will be taught in a way that’s engaging for kids through fun! Songs, games, and art projects will guide your child into the world of yoga, all with joy and laughter!

Pricing: Tuition for 10-week program is 300.00, non-refundable after the first week of class.
